First game of the season

My youngest son is running around in the buff clutching a balloon singing ‘it’s boring, it’s boring’ and it just about summed my opinion of todays Liverpool game against Spurs. It was a poor game where spurs played the better football for long periods with a midfield that badly missed the creative influence of Alonso and Liverpools evening were just about summed up with the nasty clash of heads between Carragher and Skrtel with the former needs staples in a 2 inch gash to his forehead and the later with a cut chin and a damaged jaw that would eventually force him off, all in all a very bad start to the season when you consider the other teams of ‘the big four’ all won their games.
