23/01/2004 Entry: "Sci-Fi Babes"
Here is my little piece of heaven, i may be a geek for liking all these Sci-Fi programs (some more than others) but i know what i like and i like beautiful women gracing my T.V. Taste is obviously a very personal thing and some you might agree with, some you won't..either way you can add comments to this gallery and if you have a preference for a babe thats not here then let me know and i will include them..one rule though, they must have been, or are regular main characters..not an extra.
Amanda Tapping is best known for her role as Captain/Major Samantha Carter in The T.V series Stargate SG1, Born in Rochford, Essex in England on August 28 1965, she spent a short time in South Benfleet, Essex before relocating to Ontario, Canada at the age of 3.
Standing at 5ft 9in with blonde hair and blue eye's she has remained one of my all time fav 'Sci-Fi Babes' not just because of her beauty but also, with her role as Sam in SG1, she portrays a woman who is very intelligent but also kicks ass when the need arises yet still manages to keep her feminine charm and vulnerability.
Jolene Blalock is currently appearing on our screens as Science Officer, Sub-Commander T'Pol in the new Star Trek Enterprise series.
Born in San Diego on the 5th March 1975 Jolene first sought fame as a model in Asia and Europe at the tender age of 17 before turning to acting.
Jolene doesn't exactly have classical beauty or girl next door appeal but she is stunning none the less, with quite an imposing, strong appearance and a 'frame' to die for as well as having an interest list as long as your arm (rollerblading, roller skating, kickboxing, Thai-boxing and snowboarding to name a few) she is up there with the elite 'Sci-Fi Babes'.
Jessica Marie Alba's best role to date was as Max in the t.v series Dark Angel, a genetically engineered super soldier who escapes while still a child and grows in the edgy, underground street life of 21st Century America hiding from the baddies who want to bring her back to Manticore where she was 'created'.
Jessica was born in Pomona, California, on April 28, 1981 and is a true Latin beauty who had attitude and kicked major ass, at only 5ft 6in with brown hair and eye's she absolutely smolders on screen..and with the attitude thrown in can look sultry and seductive, a definite inclusion to 'Sci-Fi Babes'.
Alexandra Doig is currently involved in the t.v series Andromeda playing Andromeda and Rommie. Andromeda is the name of the ship the crew travel on and Lexa plays the AI of the ship, the interactive visual representation. Rommie is a separate entity known as an avatar (an android) who is part of the ship but works independently and autonomously and tends to be Lexa's main character....whew!!!
Born in Toronto on June 8, 1973 and standing at 5ft 6in, Lexa is another sultry beauty who owes her Asian good looks to her mothers heritage.
Lexa is apparently a bit of a geek at heart and enjoys RPG's and watching cartoon's so there's hope for us all....if you look like her husband Michael Shanks!!!.
Renee O'Connor's most memorable t.v appearances were as Gabrielle in Xena with Lucy Lawless, although she played a sidekick and much of the focus was on Lucy i found that Renee was a far more interesting addition to the world of 'Sci-Fi Babes' (not that i was particularly interested in Xena, it never quite grabbed my interest.....apart from Renee that is).
Renee was born on February 15, 1971 in Houston, Texas and first started acting at the age of 8.
Standing at a diminutive 5ft 3in this perfectly formed blonde hair, green eyed babe always increased my blood flow whenever i saw her on the screen.
Terry Farrell (Theresa lee Farrel Grussendorf ) was the delicious Jadzia Dax in the long running Star Trek: Deep Space Nine series
Born in Cedar Rapids, Iowa on the 19 November 1963, this lofty 6ft dark haired beauty of an actress is enough to send anyone into a quiver and hence the addition to this little gallery.
Laura Maureen Bertram is another young actress from the Andromeda series that i have taken a shine to, she plays a rather mysterious character called Trance Gemini, a beautiful young female alien of a completely unknown species. During Season 2 of Andromeda the character Trance Gemini changed cosmetically, which is shown in the two photo's, pic 1 as she is now and 2 as she was.
Laura was born on September 5, 1978 in Toronto, Ontario, has blonde hair and green/hazel eye's depending on which bio's you read.
She's still a young babe at the moment but she has an enchanting smile and very much a 'girl next door' look about her...very nice.
Jeri Ryan (Jeri Lynn Zimmerman) is another entry from the world of Star Trek, this time ST Voyager. She played a Borg who was re-assimilated back into humanity by the crew of Voyager.
Jeri was born on February 22 1968 in Munich, Germany but emigrated with her family to America when she was very young, at a strapping 5ft 8in she has the physique of an athlete and a chest that would put Jordan to shame...mainly cause it's real, dressed in those figure hugging skin tight body suits on Voyager was enough to get any young man dribbling at the thought of the next episode to be aired.
Love Buffy and Angel or hate them there's no denying that Charisma Carpenter is one cracking 'Sci-Fi Babe'. She plays Cordelia Chase firstly in Buffy before crossing over to Angel..starting off as a bitchy Cheerleader in Buffy before mellowing out in Angel.
Charisma was born in Las Vegas, Nevada on July 23, 1970, is 5ft 7in tall and has Hazel eye's and dark brown hair.
I must admit that attitude is everything and in Buffy i just did not find her that attractive (maybe trying to play a schoolgirl at her age was a factor) but then she moved over to the Angel series, blossomed and turned into a right piece of eyecandy...yummy!
Kristin Kreuk is presently cast as Lana Lang in the t.v series Smallville, the love interest of the not quite Superman character Clark Kent.
Kristin Laura Kreuk was born on December 30, 1982 in Vancouver, Canada and is half-Chinese and half-Dutch. Although only 5ft 4in tall you would definitely notice this beauty walking past your local Spar (if you were walking you would probably trip and if you were driving you would probably end up in the back of the driver in front of you). Definitely a 'Sci-Fi Babe'.
