Due to some inconsiderate individuals hot linking to games on this server and stealing my bandwidth without the common courtesy to save the files onto their own server i have disabled hot linking.
Last month, because of this rather unsavoury practise my site went down due to excessive bandwidth usage in the region of 4 gigabytes..this is unacceptable as this is my personal site for my family and friends and the odd visitor that may find useful information or enjoy some of the games etc that i host on this server and it pisses me off when i can't even make journal posts to my own site because of bandwidth lechers.
I will be refining the hotlink ban parameters as the week go's on and set up a redirected page for those who would choose to continue this ignorant and selfish practise.
I apologise to those friends and family that may have been trying to access the website the last couple of days.
