It is my sad duty to inform you that Attila, my Curly Haired Tarantula (Brachypelma albopilosum) is dead, some of you may give a sigh of relief as some of my friends and family were less than comfortable in his presence but it is a sad day indeed.
It is a matter of conjecture as to the cause..i would fully admit that since my move to Blackpool and the recent addition of Aaron i have tended to forget about Attila and making sure he had some food on a regular basis (i never starved him i might point out), making sure his enclosure was humid enough and making sure his water dish was replenished.
He could of died from plain old age..he was in the later stages of his lifespan at approx 7/8 years old (Chris might be able to help my memory with this one) and was fully grown at approx 5 inches long.
Guess i will never know for sure but i have decided that, for the time being at least, i will not be replacing him with another one...i have to much on my plate at the moment to give a new pet the attention it requires....but never say never.

We had to have the windscreen on the MG replaced yesterday after some twat had lobbed a stone at our car causing a crack about 10 inches long.
It is times like this that i thank god for windscreen cover in the insurance...after double checking that claiming on the windscreen cover would not affect our premium we took it down to the local approved fitter and for the cost of the excess which was £50 we had ourselves a nice new screen.
Out of interest we asked how much a new screen would cost without insurance cover for an MG ZT and the reply was £270!!!..for what is effectively a standard screen, hate to think how much Chris's ultra thin, lightweight screen for his CTR would be razz

So shoot me, i'm only human...and a proud father..so that's why i have more pics of me little boy smile
I just find myself with either the video cam or SLR in my hand taking pictures or filming him completely oblivious that when he's older he's probably gonna hate me for it...all those girlfriends he brings back that i can embarrass him with hundreds of photos *evil laugh*......
Anyway, as i have been telling everyone what a little angel he is i thought it appropriate that i include some photo's of him when he is slightly less than happy and having a good winge.
Hope you like the new pics..I know the grandparents definitely will.
P.s..don't Chris look good with one of them razz

I got a bit bored with the old look so here is the new looking MFP, still a bit of tidying up to do and the photo galleries to do over the next couple of days so don't bother sending me messages about the fact that text is breaking out of the div's when viewed the anything other than IE, any other suggestions though feel free to air them.
