Just could not believe it, went down to my local KFC drive through to get one of those scrummy fillet tower burgers and the guy on the end of the intercom said they had no buns left!!!
He said they had plenty of chicken though.....i'm not fucking surprised they have.
It's like a petrol station with no fuel, a bank with no money...it's like a bloody pub with no alcohol!!
Just imagine the amount of business lost because some poorly trained, spotty illiterate bum fucked up when they placed the orders.
Anyway, in substitution for my lack of chicken burger i got some booze instead.

Thought it about time to give the fish tank a bit of a clean, i had a rather excessive amount of green algae growing on all the ornaments and glass and it was looking like a bloody forest...i couldn't be arsed to scrub everything down by had though so i took all the ornaments out of the fish tank, took them into the back yard and blasted the buggers with the power washer...nice..then i went out and spent £21 on new fish, so i guess i won't be starting a marine tank just yet then.

Got the car back today, all in all a fine job was done but i did find a few faults that i was not happy with (over spray, orange peel, 1 run, couple of chips) but i also found some new damage to the NSF wing and door which would seem to indicate to me that a door had come into contact with the car causing said damage...i have had the car re-booked in on the 8th March for these faults to be rectified.
I have to say that i was quite shocked to find how heavy the car feels after driving the vectra...steering feels heavy, brakes feel heavy, clutch feels shorter and interior space seems smaller!!!.

Me and Fliss have been to the dentist today...not our favourite day out, especially when i have some major work to be done (major to me anyway)
I have needed this dental done for the last 3 months but have had to keep moving the appointment because of the jury service but today i finally got some done.
Today was extraction day, i have had one of my molars ripped from my gums and i have to say that although they numb it all up, the sensation you feel as a tooth is pulled is horrible..can't wait for the next appointment.....
Also, forgot to mention that we phoned the garage last week to check on the progress of the car and they told us that all the work had been completed and that they were just doing some suspension checks to make sure everything was tip-top.
Well, a few days after we got a call from the garage to tell us that while checking the suspension they found additional damage to the suspension of the OSF wheel, so they have had to order some new parts and contact the insurance company's again to inform them and get authorisation.

Got home from court today to find a letter from the Cheshire Constabulary intending to prosecute me for doing 46 mph in a temporary 40mph zone on the M6 southbound viaduct...so thats gonna be more points on my license.
As far as i'm concerned it's getting extremely petty now and because of a slight lapse on my part i become, each and every day, more of a 'criminal' in the eyes of the law, persecuted as a motorist with the intention of extracting money from me. I could understand if i was doing 60, 70 or 80 mph but 46...takes the fucking piss!!!

Felicity called the MG garage and they have told us that they have started work on our car...so that must mean that the insurance claim has gone through and that parties have come to a mutual agreement. The garage had already started ordering parts for the car in preparation for the ok so with any luck they have all the bits already and the car will hopefully be ready in 2 weeks.
Additionally the court case that i'm on should be finishing in about 1/2 weeks time, the prosecution and defence are in the process of summing up, then the Judge will do his summing up and then its up to us, the jury, to come to a verdict.
One last, little item is that i have been without the use of a working phone for a little while...well, thats not entirely true, i could send texts but that was about it.
We have been having nothing but trouble with our phones and service from 3 mobile and we finally had enough.
We went into Phones4u to complain and they were willing to come to a deal whereby they reduce our contract down to the minimum and then they would cover the cost of the contract for the remaining 7 months and we would take out new contracts with them, unfortunately, 3 mobile were completely un-helpful even though technically they are in breach of contract for not supplying a service that we expect and are paying for...we could take them to court i suppose but Fliss can't be arsed with them so i made them take my phone in for repair, it's come back in working condition and when our contracts are up for renewal we will definitely not be going with 3 again.
