You would think that what with all the terrorism going on in the world today the EU would have better things to do than dream up potty new laws to further spoil the quality of life we already 'try' to enjoy.
The next new law (directive) to be passed is to force barmaids to stop wearing low cut tops, apparently it's a health hazard as they run the risk of getting skin cancer when they go outside to serve and collect glass.
The cleavage barmaid has been a tradition in Britain for 100's of years and then along comes some pointless moron who insists that they have the right to tell us what we can and can't wear...hell, telling our women to cover up in case the slightest bit of sun causes a mass epidemic of skin cancer is just short of telling them to cover up 'just in case' they offend the large community of Muslim men we have in this country.
So, once again we have a meddling corrupt nanny state dictating to our less corrupt meddling nanny state how we should live our lives..well, no thank you...i'm more than happy with my jugs, pounds and ounces and my bent bananas.

We all know that it is a sin for an Islamic male to see any woman other than his wife naked, and that he must commit suicide if he does.
So next Sunday at 4:00, all British women are asked to walk out of their house completely naked to help weed out any neighbourhood terrorists.
Circling your block for one hour is recommended for this anti-terrorist effort. All men are to position themselves in deck chairs in front of their house to prove they are not terrorists, and to demonstrate that they think it's okay to see nude women other than their wife and to show support for all British women. And since the Koran also does not approve of alcohol, a cold six- pack at your side is further proof of your anti-terrorist sentiment.
The British Government appreciates your efforts to root out terrorists and applauds your participation in this anti terrorist activity.

Its utter rubbish mate. this has got bugger all to do with health/skin care issues. Otherwise it would have been preceeded by a ban on sunbathing! This is some bint in the nut house we call the EU hierachy trying to sneek in a blanket "Keep em happy" law. It means less chance of offending minority groups as Mark mentioned (Sorry, but if you choose to live in this predominatly Christian country, then you should except you may be offended by some of its traits)who shouldnt be in the pub anyway as their religion forbids it! It keeps the feminists happy and stops em wittering on about how female barstaff are being degraded and used, when infact its the punters that are being had passing their cash over eagerly to have a chance of chatting to a lovely young lady. And all done in a carefully "We are only thinking of you" mannor.
If the girls behind the bar are happy wearing their tops, then so be it! they will never get this law passed, and even if they did it would be impossible to enforce. Who has the right to tell anyone how to dress? Bloody Europe.
