As of November 1st prices will be increasing for some users of the Xbox Live Gold service, if your lucky to live in the UK then those price increases will only affect the monthly Gold purchases (from £4.99 to £5.99)

Sushi not for Feminist’s

I have been reading about a company in London called Flash Sushi that host ‘secret’ sushi dinner events where you and you friends/colleagues/clients can enjoy eating sushi off an attractive naked woman lying on a table. The woman in question has her lower intimate parts covered by banana leaves and her breast are covered by rose petals and the food is placed on her stomach, chest and legs…a picture of pure eye candy i’m sure and at £250 per head i should think so.
Seems that not everyone thinks so and out come the feminist trotting out the same old mantra of degradation and devaluation and women being taken advantage of by men..what i don’t understand is if it’s so degrading to women then why do women let themselves be degraded..they have a choice to do it or not and i certainly don’t think any less of a woman for doing it, the fact that men reportedly think about sex every 10 seconds or something means that we don’t see women as sex objects…we just think about sex all the time and women are generally the object of the obsession. Really, if you think about it the woman lying on her back covered in a bikini made of leaves probably gets paid more in one evening than i do in a week, does very little to earn that money while men sit around spending hundreds of pounds each just purely for the privilege of eating some cold food off her tummy, if anybodies being exploited it’s us poor men and our inability to control our need to think about sex or control our sex drives, you women have us over a barrel….sex sells and women do very well financially out of it.

Little visitor

Spring is here…and with it brings little visitors out of their Winter bolt holes. Today we had a visit from a common frog (Rana temporaria) who was sat patiently on our door step, he’s probably not long come out of hibernation and i have no idea where he’s come from as i don’t know anyone with a pond in their garden (more…)

Hope you had a festive Christmas and a happy new year, i know i did. I even got to go out and celebrate new year with the wife which i think is a first for a few years now as she’s always working and i normally have to stay at home to look after the kids. Thanks to Fliss’s mum though for babysitting them and more thanks to her and Lucy and Stuart for the great company over xmas and new year. (more…)

Does Anthony insist on having toilet accidents when he’s fully toilet trained. It’s not as if he doesn’t have access to the toilet or does not know how to use it but yet he still has these absent minded accidents. Maybe i’m being overly harsh as he’s only 2 and a half years old and maybe it’s unfair to compare him to Aaron who once toilet trained has been pretty much accident free…. (more…)
Time for the dentist

Eating my food earlier (nice little curry with naan) when i felt a small hard bit in my mouth, thought it was a bit of chicken bone or something so had a root around in my mouth to remove the offending item and when looking at it realised to my dismay that it’s actually a bit of tooth. Had a good feel around with my tongue and it appears to be a small fragment of molar that’s cracked off (to be fair it feels like a bloody huge gap with my tongue). I’ve not been registered with a dentist for a while…funnily enough ever since my last dentist put me through hell with a root canal but i do know a dentist because i maintain his surgery waiting room fish tank for him so i shall be popping in to see him to see if he has room for another patient. Yes it’s mine and Fliss’s 7th year anniversary today, i’m not sure what Fliss has done to merit putting up with me for 7 years but there you go.
Hopefully today we will get to ‘do something’ together without the kids in tow (not that you dirty minded buggers

Painting pain

Since picking up the tools again as a painter and decorator over a month ago after many many years away i finally got some glossing work to do today to finish up someone elses job after they went to another site, up till now i have only been using emulsion. Anyway, i forgot how much my hands and knees got a battering from kneeling down to do skirting. Just thought i would post this pointless post while giving my knees a rest before i crack on
