Last day of School Holiday

Thank god it’s finally here, today is the last day of the Summer holiday and not only is Aaron back to school but Anthony starts his first day of school tomorrow so quite an exciting time. As a little treat we are going to take the boys to the Sandcastle Water Park today for a day of water playing goodness, hopefully it will knacker them out as well.

Shrove Tuesday

Today is Shrove Tuesday..the day commonly assiciated with being the day before Lent and the 40 days of fasting…if you follow that sort of thing! however, something far more interesting happens today, yes it’s pancake day. A day to totally pig out on lovely fatty pancakes that we traditionally have once a year (unlike Americans who seem to have them just about every day for breakfast if you beleive the TV) (more…)
Happy Valentines day

I wanted to take the opportunity to wish my wife a very happy Valentines day…i’m not an overly mushy type of guy so your not going to see a massive full page post filled with sickly poems etc..
What i will say is that she has been my best friend for about 10 years now and my love has just got stronger and stronger every year.
I love you Felicity…your my heartbeat.
